🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: The Times have revealed the FIVE demands JJ Gabriel and his camp reportedly made to Manchester United:
• Shirt number 77
• "Gabriel JR" on the back
• Train ONLY with the first team
• At least 20 guaranteed minutes in three specific matches
• A seven-figure annual salary
Manchester United rejected several of the requests and now expect the 16 year old to leave.
🚨🗣️ José Mourinho on Roma coach Gasperini: “He is the TOUGHEST coach I have ever faced. I changed formation FIVE TIMES and he countered them all.”
They meet AGAIN on Wednesday. @diarioas
🚨🚨 José Mourinho: "Negreira case?
I’ll just say one thing: congratulations to the Italians.
Do you know why? Because it’s the only country where Calciopoli has TRULY been Calciopoli.
Because in Spain, with what’s happened—and everyone knows what happened—it still seems like… nothing has happened. Nothing at all.
The Negreira case wouldd be the BIGGEST CORRUPTION SCANDAL in world refereeing, if nothing is done about it."
People can mock @Cristiano or rage about him when he (rarely) speaks his mind. But one thing they can never do, is doubt his word. He always tells the truth, however unpalatable it may be to those who don’t want to hear it. It’s one of the many reasons that I admire him so much.
🚨 Lisandro Martínez: “I expect more from our technical director”. 💣
“If you don’t change, next season it’s a big problem”.
“You keep changing managers but what about other areas?”.
“It’s easy to say coach, players, but also we have to see others?”, says via @NathSalt1.
🚨 José Mourinho: “There’s something that smells STRANGE to me”.
“Usually the referee's name is known 24 hours before the game in La Liga. So, why, for us, we always hear the name 3 weeks before?”.
They called for Cristiano Ronaldo’s head for calling out the club and it’s management but suddenly Lisandro Martinez is a hero for doing the exact same thing.
🗣️ Lisandro Martínez: "I have to control myself a lot. Sometimes it's a reflection in the mirror of our club at this moment.
"I expect more from our technical director, I have to be honest. I expected more investment in the summer.
"We keep changing managers, but what about other areas? It’s easy to say the coach, the players, but also we have to see others, huh? I can't say more.
"If you don’t change, next season it’s a big problem."
The true story behind this video that's was on May 3, 2023 outside PSG's headquarters in Paris.
That's the day the Ultras finally snapped and told Messi to leave.
Why they wanted Messi out
Messi joined PSG in August 2021 after Barcelona went broke. At first PSG fans loved it. But after 2 years:
PSG got knocked out of Champions League in Round of 16 twice - vs Real Madrid in 2022 and vs Bayern Munich in 2023. Fans felt Messi disappeared in both ties.
Fans thought the club became a retirement home, not a real team. Messi on huge wages, but no fight on the pitch.
The final straw was the Saudi trip. After PSG lost 3-1 to Lorient at home on April 30, 2023, Messi flew to Saudi Arabia for a paid job without the club's permission and missed training. PSG suspended him for 2 weeks - no play, no training, no pay.
For the Ultras, that was disrespect.
That day, several hundred members of Collectif Ultras Paris - PSG's hardcore fan group - gathered at Boulogne headquarters. They lit flares and chanted.
They held banners: PSG OU TU VAS? PSG where are you going ?
And they started chanting directly against Messi.
The coach at the time even said: I can understand protesting at the training ground, but private life must stay private.
That protest was the end. PSG already decided not to renew Messi. A month later on June 3, 2023, Messi's last game at Parc des Princes vs Clermont, the Ultras booed every time he touched the ball. He left as a free agent and joined Inter Miami a few days later.
For PSG fans, it wasn't just about Messi the player. They saw it as the project failing - buying stars but losing the identity of the club Ronaldo never experienced this.
