Critical Analysis by Jainacharya Yugbhushansuriji in response to his statement -

Is this statement in an individual capacity or as the EAM of #Bharat ? This statement is against Bharat’s 'Raj Dharma' and does not suit a responsible minister of Bharat’s #government as it disregards Bharat’s commitment to the rule of #law.

The concept of 'Raj Dharma' embodies the duty of rulers to govern justly and uphold the laws of the land. This concept is deeply ingrained in Bharat's #heritage and #political #philosophy, reflecting the idea that the ends do not justify the means, especially when those means compromise #ethical standards and #legal norms.

If criminals ignore the law, does that justify a government doing the same ? Will #society thrive under such policies ? If a legitimate sovereign government adopts such crude policies, how can it demand law enforcement from others?

Such a statement from a minister would portray a fragile image of Bharat whose policies get influenced by the policies of criminals. It would hurt Bharat’s goodwill and moral authority, which endows Bharat with the status of #Vishwamitra, if not #Vishwaguru on the #global stage.

Bharat has maintained its policies based on the rule of law throughout many trying times. In Kasab’s case, too, he was punished only after a free and fair trial in accordance with the laws of Bharat. Bharat should not inflict a long-term loss upon itself for short-term #electoral gains.

Bharat’s heritage, as reflected in the epics of #Mahabharat and #Ramayan, emphasises the importance of #righteousness even in the face of adversity. Even the smallest disregard of #Rajniti by the righteous Pandavas fighting against the evil Kauravas was pinpointed, criticised and considered a blot on them. This illustrates the long-standing tradition of upholding Rajniti, even in the face of grave challenges and serves as a powerful reminder of the nation's foundational principles.

Additionally, Bharat’s Rajniti disregards the tit-for-tat approach - mirroring the tactics of criminals or being evil to fight evil - as these ideas are against the ideals of #VasudhaivaKutumbakam !
