Mahindra was responsible to conduct a safe crossing, which he clearly did not.

2) Highway design fault.
Such crossings should never exist on a high speed corridor.

In UAE/Europe, fine for speeding may be a ~ €100.
But the fine for reversing might be a prison sentence/suspension of license.

@VintageGames1 @chawla7687 Highways speed limits are not segregated by lanes, but rather by vehicle types. Means for a car its 100 or 120 and for heavy vehicles its 80.

There may be exceptions at specific places.

If the car ahead brakes suddenly, we can still react on time, if a safe distance is maintained.

But for a reversing car, it is next to impossible to judge from a safe enough distance.
