There's our COLA! We have a written agreement. Now all that's left between PWU members & our COLAs is approval by the Board of Estimates. Thanks to our members, AFCSME Council 3, Pratt leadership, the Labor Commissioner, & everyone else who helped to make this happen!
Pratt Workers United just had our first bargaining session! The bargaining team is proud of the initial proposals we presented, which give voice to our needs and promote the dignity and well-being of library workers.

The Enoch Pratt Free Library is facing budget cuts. Tonight at 6pm is Taxpayers Night at City Hall where residents can voice opposition to these cuts. You can sign up to speak (in person or online) or submit written testimony :

You can also call 410-396-7073 or your council members. We're about to negotiate our first contract—budget cuts could stop us from winning higher pay and better working conditions, and improving the services that Pratt workers can provide to Baltimore.
We are still glowing from our OVERWHELMING union victory 🥳 We love @prattlibrary and are excited to begin the process of negotiating a better workplace for our co-workers and our communities. Let's do this! #PrattWorkersUnited
Incredible news: workers across Baltimore's Enoch Pratt Free Library system won their union vote in a landslide! Watch my @TheRealNews interview from Sept w/ @PrattWorkers worker organizers Marti Dirscheri & Antoinette Wilson about their vital struggle:

"As public library workers, we are purveyors of free education, literacy, shelter, and access to information, and we need to have a say in how we provide these necessary and over-commodified resources," said Hirsch. #PrattWorkersUnited https://t.co/3Fg7MQXVEg
