As a friend of Rwanda, I was invited by friends to attend the RPF liberation day celebrations, thus spending the past week in Kigali.
As a member of PLU, I saw this as an opportunity to go on a fact finding mission, and I was not disappointed. First of all, the level of excitement and support that Rwandans have for President Kagame, can only be compared to the love that Baganda show Kabaka Ronald Mutebi whenever he appears at public events.
Secondly, the youth in Rwanda are so openly patriotic and passionate about their country and they are actually the ones in charge in many areas.
I witnessed a high level of order and organization at all the RPF events that I attended, [be it at Amahoro stadium or the RPF rallies at Bugesera] the level of order and organization is totally on another level, and that explains why Rwanda is a regional hub for international events and conferences.
As a global citizen who has travelled to over 48 countries, Rwanda is the only country where you find functioning street lights connecting from city to city, and in fact, it is easier for one to send you for a tooth of a tooth of a lion, than send you to pick a small piece of paper on any street in Rwanda. That is the level of cleanliness on the streets of Rwanda.
My take home is that, as we prepare Gen MK to become our next President, Gen. MK should copy quite a number of things from his uncle Gen Kagame.
I am aware that haters, fakemasters and losers will say Gashumba is a Rwandan, but that's for the naive and ignorant. The fact is, my story starts from Villa Maria Masaka, Central Region, Uganda. Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
