@jumanji37 Change in ceo should have been made months ago. Not yesterday afternoon, thanks for the well needed clarification. The board is responsible for the mess, mismanagement and not defending shareholders’ best interest.
@wolfejosh One of the (many, many) issues with this whole circus is valuation. A ~20% premium valuing a share at $420 to take private a stock which will then immediately be subject to liquidity discount of ~30% is idiotic at best. Value to private investors after take private: ~$300/share.
@jodi_churchill@SaySirQ@chelseahandler If $tsla is just a car company and is not acting at least part for greater good by building proof of concept for batteries/electricity storage that will later find applications to enhance planet issues then it should just go bankrupt now as it has no reasonable reason existing.
@GreggHoush@elonmusk Fighting the fight that makes (or is intended to potentially make) him money. Classy, elegant and consistent with public image and communication. Quite a model to follow for younger generations.
@JustinPulitzer Assisted by aliens and other inhabitants of extra solar system planets. Just because. Is it not so obvious this effort is concerted after all and that there is a clear conspiracy against $tsla. Who does not see this really?!?
@MoneyLobster@Rule1_Investing@danielle_town@MGTCI Without getting too technical the mgmt of $mgti over at least 12 months has been completely appalling resulting in a very meaningful drop in share price. When that’s the case, the Board of Directors is legally supposed to step in. It’s called fiduciary duty - they are in breach.
@MoneyLobster@Rule1_Investing@danielle_town@MGTCI No I am saying they destroyed shareholders value. They did a bunch of things resulting in drastic increase in sharecount which in turn dilutes massively shareholders. One of those is totally over-compensating senior management even though the team did not deliver results at all.
@MGTCI Strategic plan for the next 12 months/3 years? Approved by the Board of Directors? Corresponding compensation plan linked to financial/ business targets? In-depth review of senior mgmt team and performance over last 12 months? Review and communication with roaster of investors?
