Turkey is unlikely to confront Iran even with Makkah Pact support because Ankara anticipates a functioning Iran as far easier to manage than a collapsed one: state breakdown might trigger massive refugee flows, militancy and Kurdish instability, especially given Iran’s existing Afghan refugee population. Turkey’s “financial hub” pitch is really a peace bet

🇹🇷-এর IFC launch-এর timing itself may be a signal: Ankara চায় global capital Turkey-কে এমন একটি country হিসেবে দেখুক যে stability expect করে, war নয়। একটি financial hub-এর মূল ভিত্তিই predictability, তাই Turkey-কে long-term international investment-এর destination হিসেবে present করা একই সঙ্গে signal হতে পারে যে Ankara নিজেকে next regional flashpoint হিসেবে দেখছে না।

Erdoğan global capital-এর জন্য তার case তুলে ধরেছেন এমন এক সময়ে, যখন একটি war পুরো region-কে reshape করছে। তিনি crisis-টিকে এমন একটি situation হিসেবে describe করেছেন যা “may open new doors before our country.” Şimşek এরপর tax cuts, 20-year foreign-income exemption এবং 2–3% repatriation amnesty-এর কথা বলেছেন। IFC-এর CEO বলেছেন, 40+ companies, mostly Gulf এবং East Asian, ইতোমধ্যে inquiry করেছে।

Why this projects “no war coming”

Financial hubs শুধু geography sell করে না — তারা predictability sell করে: enforceable contracts, insurable risk, stable currency, এবং এমন courts যেখানে locals ও foreigners-কে একইভাবে treat করা হয়। War এগুলো একসঙ্গে break করে — insurers risk reprice করে, capital flee করে, shippers reroute করে। তাই কোনো serious actor নিজেকে next financial hub হিসেবে pitch করার সময় war-এর জন্য প্রস্তুত থাকার signal দিতে চাইবে না। Turkey-এর পুরো play এই bet-এর ওপর যে তারা next flashpoint থেকে যথেষ্ট সময় বাইরে থাকতে পারে এবং “boring” দেখাতে পারে — আর boring-ই financial hubs-এর product।

What actually happened to Dubai

Real, measurable, not exaggerated:

Tourism cratered: hotel occupancy February-তে 84.7% থেকে March 2026-এ 33.1%-এ নেমেছে, 54% YoY down। Landmark hotels “for renovation” বন্ধ হয়েছে। 23,000+ regional flights cancelled হয়েছে। Stock exchanges দুই দিন trading suspend করেছে। WTTC regional losses €515M/day estimate করেছে, ফলে forecast করা +13% tourism year এখন possible $34–56B loss-এর দিকে যেতে পারে।
Real estate and investor trust dented, not broken: short-term rentals (Palm Jumeirah, Marina, JBR) সবচেয়ে দ্রুত hit নিয়েছে; long-term property তুলনামূলকভাবে “short-term pause” হিসেবে held up করেছে, correction হিসেবে নয়। 2025-এ Dubai যে $63B wealth attract করেছিল, সেটি এখন real question mark — Palm Jumeirah-তে missile debris এবং Abu Dhabi-র ওপর drone interceptions Dubai-এর brand যে “predictability”-র ওপর built, তার সঙ্গে যায় না, যদিও কিছু investors long-term bet করে গেছে।

Very likely yes, however Bangladesh post 1971 is extremely unstable in the implementation of genuine democracy or as country overall till now (BNP). The govt couldn’t provide the people with fairness, world class amneties like parks, recreational hubs, healthcare, ease of business(rank 168) , etc. In such instable countries like pre 2024 Syria, people tend to move to radical ideologies/ apocalyptical , blaming democracy overall, other religious groups. In USA- China, non christian groups talk a lot of neg about the country, but prolly will almost sacrifice all to keep his PR/Citizenship. Even Hui Muslims support Chinese govt. No top ranking Muslim or western country utilises religious system rather focused on development, economy.
