Instead, He encourages praying in a private, sincere, and humble way, seeking genuine communion with God rather than human approval.

In verse 5, Jesus warns against praying with the intention of being noticed by people, which is a form of hypocrisy.

Such prayers are not about connecting with God but about self-glorification.

In verse 6, Jesus tells believers to go into their private room, close the door, and pray to the Father in secret.

This emphasizes the importance of intimacy and sincerity in prayer.

God, who sees what is done in secret, will reward such genuine devotion.

Summed up, these verses teach that prayer is not a public performance but a personal, heartfelt conversation with God.

The focus should be on God alone, not on impressing others.
