Even though “cultural Christianity” has largely lost social power & influence, it’s clear that people still long for the transcendent. People still long to know God & access spiritual power in their lives. As followers of Jesus, we know that true spiritual power comes from prayer
Even though we pray, “Come, Holy Spirit,” I hope you know that the gift of the Spirit is already given. The Holy Spirit has already come. We all are temples of the Holy Spirit—equally, objectively, and forever!

Holy, holy, loving Lord, God of all creation, we worship you as we meditate in wonder on all your works. Blessed Trinity, open our hearts more fully to you and to your world today, we pray. Amen.
I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is higher than the heavens, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. — Psalm 108:3-4
Thank you, O Lord, for your pledge that your love endures forever. We rest in your love and ask for the ongoing transformation of our lives by your passion. Holy Spirit, let your love flow through our lives today, we pray. Amen.
Read Psalm 105. Then we'll talk about Gratitude. One of those things that I am not great at: Gratitude. Don’t get me wrong, I try to be grateful to others. Being grateful to God is another thing.
Today read Luke 2:21-38 and we'll talk about Fasting. Ok, so I decided I don’t like fasting. I don’t like how much it reminds me I am used to a comfortable eating schedule. I don’t enjoy the hunger pangs. I mean, I have done it a few times in the past, but not regularly like this
Psalm 47 invites us to respond to the glory, majesty, and power of God. Do we believe this is true? Do we believe that God is the Most High? King over all? The one who subdues and defeats all our enemies?
If we do, there is a right response: to worship God, to praise God with…

“God’s grace and mercy is still powerful and transformative. But it will take a sovereign move of the Lord Jesus Christ to bring our society to a point of repentance, faith for revival, and restoration. We must pray for Almighty God to move.” —@Franklin_Graham
Please join me in prayer tonight for the underground church and thousands of Christians in Iran right now that are braving the storm. We must pray for their protection right now. For them and the innocent.
Pray for the families and loved ones of our military service members who have died as a part of Operation Epic Fury and for those who are wounded. Also pray for President @realDonaldTrump, that God would continue to guide him. https://t.co/fwYt8Nup6h
II Corinthians 3:6 states further, “God has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant - not of the letter but of the Spirit; as the Spirit gives life.” Let us not miss one divine appointment to share the gospel truth with all who cross our path.
Let us pray for the renewal of the church that at its very foundation, each one understands what it means to live and love like Jesus. Jesus lived a supernatural, Spirit-filled life being completely one with the Father. Revival begins as we live into the following scripture.
II Corinthians 2:14-15 states, “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.”
HOW CLOSELY ARE WE FOLLOWING THE MASTER?
There is a Middle Eastern proverb that says, "Walk so closely behind your master that the dust from his sandals gets on you."
Regrettably, many are so far behind that we cannot hear or even see where and what Jesus is doing!
