So yesterday, I took my babe out. On our way back, we branched at a store because I just wanted to get one shoe for myself.

Now, let me gist you…

My babe has always been bragging that she’ll surprise me with a shoe one day. So I said, “Oya, come and pick for me.”

The vendor brought plenty options. She picked one and I loved it. Next thing, she asked the vendor, “Do you have it in brown?” Vendor brought it. She smiled and said, “Baby, take both.”

Me, I just dey look. 😅

Then came the bombshell moment… the price!!! The vendor mentioned it, and my babe almost fainted. She whispered, “But… we only picked two.” Vendor said, “Yes, and I’ve already given you discount.”

Me that already knew the price of the shoes, I just gently made the payment.

On our way home, my babe was quiet all through. Later, she hugged me and said: “I’m sorry ooo, I never knew men’s shoes were this expensive.” 😂❤️

Love is sweet, but men’s shoes will humble you! 🤣
