🔸The despicable arrest of Tafadzwa Matanhuse tells us everything we need to know about this Govt. They are anti-poor, anti-progress and anti-people. You violently destroy people’s source of livelihood then gaslight us all by arresting them on a bogus charge of “incitement to violence” for calling out your callousness? What a shameful, vile lot you all are.

WATCH | Tafadzwa Matanhuse from Chiredzi is expected to appear in court this morning. Police issued a warrant for his arrest after a video surfaced in which he passionately expressed his frustration over the destruction of vendors’ stalls by the Chiredzi Town Council.
After learning that the police were looking for him, Tafadzwa voluntarily handed himself over yesterday. He was accompanied by his legal representative, Martin Mureri.
Police have charged Tafadzwa with inciting public violence. The charge is linked to statements he made following the demolition of the vendors’ stalls, an action that affected the livelihoods of many people who depend on informal trading to support their families.
PLEASE SHARE🙏🏾| Wanitta (15) has been missing for almost two weeks. She left her home in Borrowdale, Harare, and has not been answering her phone since then.
She was last seen with a man identified as Kudakwashe Maja (35), a security guard at Babra House in Harare CBD. It is believed they were in a relationship, and there are concerns that Kudakwashe may have persuaded Wanitta to leave with him.
Kudakwashe has also stopped reporting for duty and has reportedly been sending disturbing images of himself attempting unalive himself with a rope.
Yesterday, the family managed to track his phone location, which showed that he was in Hwedza with Wanitta. As of today, both of their phones have been switched off.
Wanitta's mother is extremely distressed by the situation and has been receiving counselling and support from her church.
The matter has been reported to the police, but so far no progress has been made and efforts to find her have reached a standstill.
We are appealing to people in Hwedza and surrounding areas to please share this message. If anyone has seen Wanitta Mlilo or Kudakwashe Maja, please report it to the nearest police station or contact: +263 773 337 967. Any information, no matter how small, could help bring Wanitta home safely.

I have just heard that the Zimbabwean Ambassador to Mozambique, Mr Victor Matemadanda, has died.
He was a man who lived a colourful and complex life, at times standing with the people, and at other times pursuing the interests of the regime when it suited him. Such is often the nature of Zimbabwean politics. Yet when people pass away, our first duty is to mourn them and to reflect on the lives they lived.
In most cases, we remember those moments, actions, or words that resonated most deeply with us. For me, this interview more than ten years ago was one of those moments. It was the point at which I took particular notice of Mr Matemadanda as a politician, political activist, war veteran, and influential figure within ZANUPF. In it, he spoke about issues that resonated with me and with millions of other Zimbabweans.
The tragedy, however, is that when his faction eventually gained control of government, it went on to do the very opposite of what he was advocating in this interview. That contradiction remains one of the enduring lessons of Zimbabwean politics.
It is an interview that every Zimbabwean should listen to and reflect upon.
May his soul rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him.
Hello. I am a concerned family friend writing to ask for your help in sharing this long story to get justice for the late Precious.
This family recently lost Precious Tariro Chimhundu (30) who was an accountant at the Ministry of Health and Child Care Head office. Precious went missing on the 20th of May 2026 only to be found dead in a room of a lodge called Tynwald Gardens & Lodges on the 25th of May 2026. When she was found, her body was already in the state of decomposing. The person who kiIIed her wanted to make the family believe that Precious committed suicid€ by leaving two small and empty containers of a smelly chemical in her handbag and her phone was also tempered with. However, the post-mortem examination revealed that she died from a head injury and bleeding inside the skull, indicating that she suffered a severe blow or trauma to the head. The doctor explained there was never a sign of poisoning in her body as all her organs , the kidney, liver, heart, intestines were normal suggesting of 99.9% of a hidden murd€r.
There are a lot of red flags that suggest the Tynwald Gardens & Lodges was involved in covering up this murd€r of our relative. For instance:
1. The body was removed from the scene before the family arrived to identify it. The family was only told to go to the mortuary, as all the identification procedures had already been done by the CID.
2. Precious is said to have booked the room for only one day, so why did they keep a dead body in the room for five days? What about the check-out process and cleaning the room? Since this is a business, were they not planning to let other customers use that room?
3. There are still no answers about who paid for the room, how much was paid, and where the receipt is. When the family asked, they were told that some customers do not want receipts.
4. There are many CCTV cameras in Tynwald Gardens’ compound, including two that were directly facing the room. However, when asked for the footage, the family was told that those cameras were not working and that only the reception camera was functional.
5. It seems like too much of a coincidence that the person was given the last room, which faces the perimeter wall, and then this incident happened.
6. When the family went to inspect the room on the day the body was found, they were told that the door had been forced open. However, it looked like the lock had already been tampered with and fixed, suggesting that someone had already worked on the key before they arrived.
7. Up to now, there has been no meaningful progress in the investigation. They family is beginning to suspect that the police may have been influenced by the lodge because they have failed to provide answers to the questions they have and there were even talks about closing the case.
Another thing is that on 26 May 2026, while the family was scanning the deceased’s phone, they noticed it had been tampered with. History was deleted on YouTube, and WhatsApp backup on email was deleted, leaving only suicidaI searches and funeral songs. They noticed there was a chat saved as “LAWRENCE” which had been cleared on 20 May 2026, the day she disappeared. Police asked who Lawrence was, but no one knew him, and then called him asking about Precious. He said he did not know her.
Sometime later Lawrence called on the deceased’s phone and he was looking for Precious. The family responded by asking how he knew Precious and he explained that he knew her from the Ministry of Health and Child Care and usually got help from her at her workplace. But initially, when police called, he had indicated that he did not know Precious. The family also asked why, if it was work-related, was he calling during late hours. He replied that he wanted to ask her something since he intended to visit the Ministry of Health and Child Care the following day. He was then informed that she had passed away. The family then noted some calls from Lawrence in the Precious' call list which indicated they have been communicating from January 2026.
After the burial, the family contacted the investigating officer for the way forward. He indicated he had transferred the case to CID Homicide. After a week, the investigating officer called the family and told them that he wanted to close the docket. The family then asked why the docket had to be closed before any arrest. He said he had no leads in the case and that CID said there was no case, even though the postmortem report indicates that Precious was murder€d. The family said they asked why there were no leads and what about Lawrence. The police then requested for Lawrence’s number and later communicated that Lawrence was from Home Affairs.
The family was then contacted by another police officer from Dzivarasekwa Police station asking the family to come and perform a ritual for their deceased at the lodge citing the lodge now want to clean and use the room. The family declined the request since nothing is known about this murd€r. There has been no communication or update regarding the case.
We are requesting the police to continue investigating this matter thoroughly. We also appeal to anyone who may have helpful information to come forward or contact the admin. We want justice for Precious and hope that those responsible are held accountable.

#dandarostreets Residents have raised alarm over the rapid construction of luxury homes on land reserved for the proposed Highglen Stadium, questioning why developments are continuing despite plans for a major sports facility on the site.

Dear @nickmangwana,
I hope you have seen the pictures that have gone viral on social media showing Zimbabweans sleeping outside the Zimbabwean Consulate in Cape Town in winter temperatures running away from xenophobic harassment, hate and violence.
Surely, as a government, you can do something to assist your own people in such circumstances. Imagine, Nick, if it were your wife and children sleeping outside in the Southern African winter, exposed to temperatures close to zero degrees. No reasonable person would find that acceptable.
The government has the resources and the responsibility to intervene. At the very least, these Zimbabweans should not be left to sleep on the pavement in the cold.
Why do we have to be so cruel to our own people? What is the purpose of having a government if it cannot step in when its citizens are in obvious distress? These are the same Zimbabweans who, in better times, send remittances back home that sustain families and contribute significantly to the country’s economy.
I hope you will not simply look at these images and move on. I hope you will bring this matter to the attention of your principals and urge them to act. Sometimes I wonder whether President Emmerson Mnangagwa is fully aware of situations such as this, because I struggle to believe that any sane and compassionate leader could see fellow citizens enduring these conditions and simply carry on as if nothing is wrong.
These people are not mere statistics. They are Zimbabweans. They deserve dignity, compassion, and assistance from the government that claims to represent them.
Thierry Henry on Lionel Messi vs Algeria:
🗣️ “At this age, in his 6th World Cup, what he is doing is not from this world.”
“That pass from De Paul and the finish from Lionel Messi… that is world-class, pure instinct, pure quality.”
“Some people call him the GOAT, and moments like this are exactly why when Argentina needed something special, he delivered again.”
“He makes it look simple, but there is nothing simple about that finish at this level.”
“Another reminder that even after all these years, he is still deciding games on the biggest stage.”
⭐️🇦🇷 Lionel Messi: “I love playing football; it has been my passion since I was little kid”.
“When I'm in good form, I give everything I have on the field”.
