My daughter knows I love her deeply, but I don't hesitate to discipline her when she crosses the line. Last night, after a serious talk-down, I sent her upstairs to her room.

Tell me why this little girl woke up this morning and one of the first things she asked was, “Dad, why didn't you come upstairs to pray and kiss me last night?”

We spent almost ten minutes talking about what happened the previous night, and the girl calmly told me she was wrong, but that I was wrong for not coming upstairs to pray and kiss her.

Once again, I got reminded that we shouldn't be so angry with the people we love that we stop showing them love and care.

everyone knows Jesus fed the 5,000… but most people miss this:

some miracles don’t appear until you start walking with what’s already in your hands.

This is a very beautiful video to watch and should be an example to many but let us not miss the salient points in it, even though i know not many of you will read this:

1. Look at the man. Every move he made was GENUINE and from his heart which is filled with GENUINE GRATITUDE.

2. Look at the woman, the tears that filled her eyes only exposed what lies in her. A heart full of joy and recognition of whatever pain she had been through and how she overcome them selflessly, with the man. She probably didn’t expect the man to go that distance in showing love and appreciation, particularly is such a symbolic manner.

They didn’t get here overnight. It definitely took from both sides, FRIENDSHIP that bred genuine LOVE which in turn bred UNDERSTANDING, UNASSUMINGNESS and TOGETHERNESS. They WORKED in spirit and in body.

In such a union, entitlement is foreign and undue expectations of eachother is alien. Just pure-hearted expression of love and gratitude for little things. One can only hope the woman and recognize the man’s silent efforts and return the energy NATURALLY.

Now, to everyone awwww-ing to this, they chose RIGHT. They loved aright and they worked together with the RIGHT ATTITUDE. If you as a woman have a shitty behavior (as most of you have) and have spent your days walking around and expecting from men, love and sacrifice just for being a woman who wears wigs, this video WILL NEVER apply to your case.

It is good to aww and wish for same now but you have to sow yam to reap yam. You cannot reap this kind of fruit when you ho about with the kind of disgusting attitude most of you carry under your bras, makeovers and wigs, with your iPhones in hand.

For very many of you, this will NOT be your story cos life knows you don’t deserve any of it without any desire to change.
