I was really low on fuel today but I needed to go pick up my kids from school. I was just praying that the fuel just brings me home. I drove to pick them up in our way back the car stopped in the middle of the road.

Chai, my fears finally came true. I had given my wife all the money I had for house upkeep so I was literally on zeros. One of my clients that supposed to pay for a property on Monday has been delaying.

I didn’t even know what to do.
I called a friend of mine and told him my ordeal. He asked me where I was and I told him.

He didn’t say anything and he hung up.
I was there just contemplating what to do, I decided to call my wife to send me small cash but I couldn’t even leave my kids there to hunt for fuel, plus I didn’t have jerrycan in the car.

While contemplating I saw that my guy driving down. He came out with 5 liters of fuel in a Jerry can. You needed to see my relief. 😮‍💨

In this life, don’t do it alone. Have people you can call, and also be someone others can call upon.

My experience with my boy moving in my wife’s stomach.
We were excited when he started moving and I was always happy to feel him by touching my wife’s stomach.

One day he moved too much and caused pain for my wife. She then tapped her stomach as though she was spanking him and said he should stop moving.

Omo, that’s how he didn’t move for about 5 days. We started begging him to move.
We were so worried that we had to go to do scan to make sure he was fine.

We literally begged him to move. After a while he started moving again, that’s when we were relieved.

I went to greet one Baba Adugbo, and he asked me for money. I opened my banking app to transfer him ₦5,000 (he didn’t know how much I intended to send), but his bank network was poor, so I told him I would send someone to give him the cash instead.

The next day, I sent my area aunt with the ₦5,000. Not long after, she called me to say he had returned the money because it was too small. I told her to keep the money and that I would send my account number so she could return it to me.

I forgot to send my account number that day, so first thing the following morning, she called again and said he had sent someone to collect the money. She wanted to know whether she should give it to him or if I still wanted my money back. I immediately sent her my account number and told her I wanted my money returned.

She then started preaching to me about how he was an elderly man and that sometimes you just have to respect elders and accept them for who they are. But I won’t tolerate that kind of rubbish, especially when it’s money I worked hard for, and from someone who hasn’t done anything for me in his life.

She later said he was shocked when she told him that she had returned the money and that I collected it back.
