MIND MATTERS - How to Overcome Negative Thoughts | Q&A with Brother Chris Episode #12
Is there a way to overcome negative thoughts when they seem to dominate your mind? What do you do when those negative patterns feel consistent and persistent? In this video, Brother Chris tackles this fundamental issue. He reminds us that we have total control over what we give our attention to, and that the devil's lies only hold power over us to the degree that we agree with them.

GOD REWARDS THE OBEDIENT!
Everyone wants God’s reward but not everyone is willing to obey God’s instruction.
The Holy Spirit is not looking for the most talented, the wealthiest, the smartest or the most educated. He is looking for hearts that are willing to obey.
When you open your Bible, lay aside your opinions, pride and human reasoning. Let God’s Word lead you.
Sometimes the greatest act of faith is not understanding everything - it’s simply saying, “Yes, Lord.”
Trust and obey - for there is no other way!

“Walk and pray. Greet and pray. Sleep and pray. Sit down and pray. Stand up and pray. Do everything and pray. The problem we have today is that we don’t see prayer as a standard for our lives. Let me put it like this: We don’t see God as the standard for life. We only see Him as a Helper in times of trouble. ‘Lord, I’m sick. Heal me! God, I’m poor. Bless me! Lord, my marriage is about to crash. Restore me!’ We see faith as a panic button that we push only in times of trouble.”

Many lose today’s blessing while chasing tomorrow’s promise. The Word of God teaches us to be content with what He has provided, while trusting Him for greater things in His perfect timing.
Gratitude preserves what God has given; discontentment often blinds us to its value. Count your blessings, steward them well, and let God determine the increase.

“No matter how far you have gone, there is always room for restoration. No matter where you are coming from, there is always space for amazing grace. Not because of us, because of Him. Not because of what we've done, because of what He did on the cross. That's the mystery and the beauty of the cross. For as Romans 5:8 says, “Whilst we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

DO NOT OFFEND TOMORROW
No one knows what tomorrow holds except God. The people we overlook today, the relationships we neglect and even those we consider our enemies may all have a place in His divine purpose for our lives.
As Prophet T.B. Joshua wisely said, “Tomorrow is a mystery.” Since only God knows the future, wisdom requires us to walk in humility, love and forgiveness today. Pride can destroy what God intends to restore. Anger can sever relationships that God may later use. Unforgiveness can close doors that obedience would have left open.
This is why Jesus said, “Love your enemies” (Matthew 5:44). We do not love because people always deserve it; we love because we desire to honour God, whose plans are far greater than our own. The Lord often works through the unlikely, raises the forgotten and uses the people we least expect to accomplish His purpose.
Before writing someone off, remember that only God knows tomorrow.
Examine your heart today. Is pride, anger or unforgiveness influencing the way you treat others? Choose humility. Choose mercy. Choose love.
The way you treat people today may shape the opportunities God places before you tomorrow.
“God Almighty has drawn your heart today. And God has something special He wants to give you. He has something unique He wants to give you today. He has something precious He wants to give you today. Are you ready to receive? What is the sign of that readiness? Your attention - to give your full attention to Jesus Christ. If you look back, your past can easily mislead you. If you look around, your situation can easily mislead you. If you look at yourself, your own feelings and emotions can easily mislead you. But if you look up, if you let your heart rise and focus on God, He will never lead you astray, He will never leave you alone and He will meet you at the point of your real need.”

“Responsible management is the fertile ground for a financial miracle. Prayer alone is not enough. It must be coupled with godly stewardship. And that begins with what is in your hands today. For whoever is faithful in the little will be faithful in much (Luke 16:10).”

Handling Temptation As a Christian | Q&A with Brother Chris Episode #11
Many assume that receiving deliverance and salvation from our Lord Jesus Christ makes them immune to the temptations of this world. In a recent Q&A session, Brother Chris makes it clear that while we are living in this world, there will be temptations - whether invited or allowed. Crucially, the manner in which you handle them matters and will determine whether you go through them or grow through them.

“Are you willing, ready to act on what you are asking God for? Because, sadly, it is very common today for people to desire to hear from God while lacking the fear of God. They may claim they want a revelation of God's will, but what they really want is a confirmation of their own will. Or I could put it like this, we are looking for an endorsement for our decisions, not direction before our decisions. Think about that, people of God. When you have already made up your mind, you leave no room for revelation. Before you pray, you've already arrived at a conclusion. You have reduced prayer to a religious ritual to make you feel spiritual about your decision even when you know its foundation is carnal.”

NO CONDEMNATION IN CHRIST JESUS!
When you stand before God today, remember that your invitation wasn't earned - it was bought. You don't have to prove your worth or count your mistakes; you are already welcome.
Your right to receive from the Father has nothing to do with what you have done and everything to do with what Christ has finished.
Through His Blood, the door is wide open. Through the Holy Spirit, your place in His presence is secure.
Let go of the pressure to be perfect, align your heart with the Word, and step boldly into His presence. You belong here because of Him.
