Is this not a 'functional enough ground' for @DoPTGoI to promote all eligible ASOs as per their own guidelines on adhoc promotions?

We all intend to see India becoming a 5 trillion dollar economy soon. India will have to uplift its manpower while achieving this target. But how feasible would it be by neglecting its ASOs, who are considered backbone of GoI?

@DoPTGoI's guidelines recommend adhoc promotion in view of pending legislation and non-finalization of final seniority list.

Sad how @DoptGoI has normalized delay in promotion of CSS officers, who are considered backbone of the Central Govt, to such an extent, that asking for it even long after it's due would quickly brand you impatient/defiant.

Getting due promotion from @DoPTGoI is literally an uphill task for CSS officers. Persistent efforts are a must!
Left unchecked, DoPT will stay in its usual mode of inaction. Delay in promotion by years is the standard set by it after all!

I am disappointed. Not because promotions are not happening. Rather because ad-hoc promotion can easily be given to all eligible ASOs of 2013 batch according to rules, but @DoPTGoI is not doing that in spite of huge vacancies.

The sloppy approach of @DoPTGoI in giving timely promotion to CSS officers has always been there.
Our seniors suffered for years, we suffer now (ASOs 2013). Goes without saying that ones after us would too. This needs to change

On one hand, @PMOIndia encourages employees to have innovation & excellence in work, but on the other hand @DoPTGoI is killing that motivation by delaying their due promotion. Promote all eligible ASOs of CSS Cadre. No more delays!

Injustice with CSS Officers!
When there are ample vacancies there is no reason to hold back the promotions of eligible ASOs.

What can be more unfortunate than withholding of requests for promotion by same Department (@DoPTGoI ) that is currently running a massive employment campaign to fill existing vacancies & has also been asked by @PMOIndia to create new jobs. Irony!

Many 2013 & 2014 Batch ASOs process promotion cases of employees of other services on daily basis, while they continue to be denied due promotion by the very organization that oversees service matters of the whole GoI!
