With reference to the above tweet, immediate action has been taken by the Bangalore Development Authority. The unauthorized construction activity has been stopped, and the unauthorized structures at the site have been removed. Necessary preventive measures have been put in place to avoid any recurrence of unauthorized activity.

Further, a complaint has been registered at the jurisdictional Police Station in connection with the matter, and necessary legal action will be pursued in accordance with the applicable provisions of law.

To ensure the safety and security of the premises, STF personnel will be deployed at the site for the next one week. The site will remain under continuous surveillance, and regular inspections will be conducted to ensure that no unauthorized construction activity is resumed.

Any attempt to carry out unauthorized construction or encroachment in violation of the directions issued by the Authority will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the applicable provisions of law. BDA remains committed to protecting public property and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

A monthly review meeting has been scheduled to assess the maintenance of the 15 Lakh Native Saplings being undertaken by partner NGOs. The meeting will be held on every 3rd Saturday of each month at11:00 AM in the Meeting Hall, BDA Head Office.

Heads of all partner NGOs are requested to attend the meeting and present the status of maintenance activities and progress of work as outlined in the notice.

Sir,

You are right. The NPKL engineers report that the inauguration is only for the main carriageway and not the service roads.

The service roads are yet to be completed as it has few land acquisition disputes. It is still work in progress. They have a deadline for inauguration until December 2026.

Thus it was unfortunate that the @NPKLOpenForum shared an old video of a wrong road and created an impression that the main carriageway is damaged/poor quality.

It is further unfortunate that few media houses shared it without verification like @XpressBengaluru for sensationalism.

We request @NPKLOpenForum to delete the video or issue a clarification in the interest of truth and fairness.
