Album of the day is by Deep Purple 'Come Hell or High Water' this is an absolute gem of a live album that sees Deep Purple recapturing their legendary lightning in a bottle during their 1993 anniversary tour.

What makes this album so special is the palpable, high-voltage tension between the musicians, which translates into an incredibly fierce and fiery performance. Ian Gillan’s vocals carry a gritty, commanding maturity, while the powerhouse rhythm section of Roger Glover and Ian Paice locks into an unstoppable, driving groove.

Jon Lord’s roaring Hammond organ holds the entire sonic landscape together, proving why he was the undisputed king of rock keyboards. It is a thrilling testament to the enduring chemistry of the classic Mark II line-up, showing a veteran band playing with the raw hunger of a group half their age.

The track list is a masterclass in hard rock history, but a few specific moments truly steal the show. 'Highway Star' opens the album with an explosive surge of energy that sets a breathless pace, while 'Lazy' allows the band to stretch out and showcase their unmatched improvisational brilliance.
