💫 2029 ⚽️ Phenom Alexa Mejia @AlexaMejia12_ is widely regarded as one of the top emerging female soccer talents in West Texas. Fresh off an outstanding freshman campaign, Alexa primarily operates as an attacking midfielder for @girlsoccerfhs and @epcosmosfc .

Her game is defined by exceptional vision, technical precision, creativity, and tactical intelligence—qualities that consistently set her apart on the pitch. Alexa’s ability to impact the game in multiple ways has made her one of the most exciting young prospects in the region.

We applaud the coaches and trainers who have helped shape her development and look forward to watching her continue to grow. We also extend our gratitude to her parents for their confidence and trust. Since joining the PREP1 Family in February 2026, Alexa has represented everything we value in a student-athlete, and we’re proud to call her a PREP1 Athlete.

Many of those once regarded as the “Best of the Best” graduated this month and have moved on to the next chapter of their journeys.

Getting recruited isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. Every athlete brings a different background, set of circumstances, and challenges—especially when coming back from injury.
You can’t apply the same approach, philosophy, or strategy to everyone and expect the same results.
