Congratulations to Prep senior Gavin Easter. He has committed to play football next season at @IUPfootball on scholarship. Recruited as a defensive back, Easter is coming off a season in which he had 24 tackles, five pass defended and a blocked kick.

One of the most entertaining 1,600s I’ve seen in some time … @Kmcruns25 of Greenville and Anne-Catherine Brown of @PrepVillaTrack were equals for almost 4 full laps, matching stride for stride and swapping the lead. McElhaney closed the best, going 5:01.19 to win. @PennTrackXC

In girls track & field it was Prep 95, General McLane 55. Anne-Catherine Brown won four events for the Ramblers while Lauren Raimy won three. James Burkett won two events for the boys, but Prep lost 100-50.
