Men aren’t as motivated to work because it no longer gets them a good wife and children like it used to.

Without any family to provide for they don’t see as much reason to work hard anymore.

A lot of men’s jobs are hard and not really enjoyable so without strong incentives many men will just choose not to do them.

Men aren’t motivated to work in and of itself but for what it gets them and that is currently very little for men in this society.
