βͺοΈ STUART (17.1% v LIB):
Port Pirie mayor Leon Stephens will attempt to unseat independent incumbent & former Cabinet Minister Geoff Brock, who successfully switched to Stuart in 2022, having represented the seat of Frome from 2009-2022.
π΅ SA LIBERAL UPDATE:
The SA Liberals have preselected a slew of candidates in largely Labor & independent-held seats ahead of the March 26 2026 state election.
π΅ MORIALTA (1.4%):
Analyst, former government advisor and volunteer firefighter Scott Kennedy will join Labor's Matt Marozzi in attempting to succeed retiring Liberal incumbent John Gardner.
π΅ TAS LIBERAL UPDATE:
The Tasmanian Liberals have confirmed their full slate of candidates in the seats of Franklin and Lyons ahead of the state election.
Incumbents Rosalie Woodruff in Franklin, Vica Bayley & Helen Burnet in Clark, Tabatha Badger in Lyons and Cecily Rosol in Lyons, have all been re-selected as lead candidates to re-contest their seats.
π’ BRADDON (TAS State):
Environmental and animal rights lawyer Vanessa Bleyer will be the Greens lead candidate for the north-western seat of Braddon at next month's state election.
per @theadvocatetas Darren Briggs, who came within striking distance of winning Braddon at last year's state election and polled ~22% of the vote at the Montgomery upper house election earlier this month, isn't "in a position to run this time".
