@jesushobo@6NewsAU@purplepingers Obviously he's not in power so can't create any meaningful policy. He's definitely created more awareness which I think helps (you don't). SR's listing landlords who try to cover up defects is definitely helpful. I don't agree with all policies, just don't get all the hate.
@murrayf1960@vanOnselenP The current government are definitely not socialists and to suggest so is ignorant. I'd be fine with reducing immigration (small part of the problem) but I also want incentives for landlords scrapped and investment in public housing boosted.
@SgtButane@fromthe_topdeck I think if it was 'teams' and 'teams supporters' then Sydney would overtake GWS. I like Sydney as a team but despise the supporters for being such babies whereas GWS I despise the team but like the supporters.
@timellisau@TheBackPocketAU There should be separate lists for teams and teams fans. As a dogs fan I like the swans team but the fans are such little cry babies I despise them.
Whereas GWS the team was dirty and easy to dislike but the fans and socials are hilarious.
@shaunst_au @HelloMarkJ @uberpaul Surprisingly it was completely legal according to the council. It definitely shouldn't be, there's no need for them in inner suburban environments.
@shaunst_au @HelloMarkJ @uberpaul Short term high density exposure is life threatening. Sure my lifetime exposure from cars might gradually do damage and be a health issue when I'm old but I shouldn't have to be battling asthma attacks in my 20's because of my neighbours renovations.
@shaunst_au @HelloMarkJ @uberpaul Cars might pollute more over my lifetime but I'm never getting a 3 month burst of intensity like that. Purchased an air purifier and the reading was always 100+ (it did nothing to help).
@shaunst_au @HelloMarkJ @uberpaul This is rubbish, I used to live in an old 70's apartment 1st floor and the neighbours installed a wood fireplace with a chimney that came out roughly 1.5 metres from our balcony. Every time they used it the house filled with smoke, I was constantly sick.
