It is one of the greatest blessings from Allah, that he prolongs the life of your parents until your hidāyah and you have the ability to serve them, give daʿwah and duʿā for their guidance (if they aren't) and to constantly pray for their raḥmah while they are still alive.

I thank Allah for this great niʿmah that he prolonged their lives and I was able to serve them to best of my abilities. May Allah forgive our shortcomings.
