@SoloSikoasToes@ModernWarzone Regular quick play in the beta has strict SBMM and disbanding lobbies. It did have open matchmaking with persistent lobbies but it was just a "test".
"According to RRN, sources within the State Department suggest that Ilhan Omar has fled the United States for Morocco, which does not have a bilateral extradition treaty with the U.S."
How exactly is not publishing a game on Xbox going to free Palestine?
The whole BDS movement is just performative politics at its best. Every company on this "banned" list is seeing great stock growth and all time highs. Why would they listen to literal pissants?
@Treyarch THANK YOU for nerfing the Warden 308. That was much needed. I was worried that this game would not be getting any more updates and that was going to be the set meta for the rest of time.
@ModernWarzone I'm just going to try and be positive and say that hopefully they listened to the community and made changes from the beta because those 2 weekends for this game were atrocious to say the least.
Activision has a serious problem with COD. They continue to called their best games "not something the community wants". You can ask any actual player of BO7 (up until season 5) if they enjoyed BO7, the vast majority of the playerbase thought the game was great. Activision continually relies so heavily on arbitrary statistics and sales numbers, they'll see a sharp decline in sales numbers and say "this isn't something players want" then go ahead and try something NOBODY asks for (SBMM, slow movement, campy gameplay, etc.).
This is EXACTLY what happened with MWII. People didn't buy into Vanguard and Cold War, although there were people that actually had real critique of those games but liked it overall because the gameplay systems were good, Activision sees the bad sales numbers then switches up the formula to something NOBODY asked for and that's how we got MWII.
They seriously need to start listening to actual critique of the game rather than sales numbers. BO7 was harmed because of a bad campaign, BO6's middling reception, and a back-to-back BO game. However, most BO7 players actually thought the game was great and was a good step forward in the franchise (pre-season 5 of course).
The players know what works, not the devs or people who never play the game.
@DeviousDavex I only have Netflix because I password share with my fiance whose dad pays for it. But I barely go on it because there is nothing to watch most of the time. Even the movies they license from are movies I've seen a million times or just boring.
Netflix is a household name at this point, but it's cultural staying power is weakening because their strategy of "throw money at everything and see what sticks" doesn't work. Netflix slop infests most of the library and I'm not surprised people are looking for alternatives.
The only time Netflix ever gets into the cultural discussion is when there is something controversial being made/premiered. Whether that be a black chick playing Cleopatra, a black dude playing the king of England, or how the last season of Stranger Thing was so bad that millions of people thought there was more to the story and kept convincing themselves that there was a "secret season" that was going to be released.
