@ryanswalters73 Yeah, well what do you expect an excommunicated member of the church to say? Good things?! It’s like asking the grinch what he loves about Christmas. Bunch of bunk!
@ryanswalters73@BebopJosh His church shall be built upon a foundation of prophets and apostles. If there are none, then he has no church. Where then are your prophets and apostles? Whoever declares God’s communication to the world ceased 2000 years ago teaches false doctrine. Did he abandon us?
@ryanswalters73 Bottom line - Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham shall be judges over their dispensation (period of time) because only they held all the keys and authority (priesthood) to act for God. As such, they will be a judge in Israel over their dispensation. Joseph Smith was no different.
@ryanswalters73 As published by the Mormon Research Ministry, an Evangelical Institution with the sole purpose of trying to discredit the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and probably taken out of context and definitely without understanding.
@PetGorilla Joshua, Samuel, Elijah, David, and Saul gave blood sacrifices in the Old Testament and were not Levites. They did this under the higher Melchizedek priesthood spoken of in Hebrews 5. Lehi and descendants did so under the same authority. The Book of Mormon is true.
@_familychiro@LaurenWitzkeDE@BasedMikeLee This is why a restoration of the truth was necessary, and I am grateful for it. It blows my mind how people just skim over what is in front of their eyes because of one or two verses which they don’t understand correctly.
@True_Patriot_1x@Catholic_Bob A “Different Christ” is such a stupid statement. There is only one Christ. Is there a different Christ in an alternate dimension or something. Too many comic books my friend.
@_familychiro@LaurenWitzkeDE@BasedMikeLee Col 2:8-9 is perfect for the prevailing belief in mainstream Christianity that the Godhead is one being. It is a philosophy in the tradition of men who held no God Given priesthood authority, met at the Nicene Council to try and define who God is, and were wrong.
@_familychiro@LaurenWitzkeDE@BasedMikeLee Simple, As I have identified, the trinity are three separate beings who are one in purpose. Jesus was the only member of the Godhead on earth with a physical body and being guided by the Holy Ghost to fulfill Gods will in saving us by his grace. Thus one in fullness bodily.
@_jonbowlin So by what authority did his apostles operate his church after his ascension into heaven, and explain why he was baptized by John the Baptist who held the Aaronic priesthood? He does his work on earth through men to whom he gives his priesthood. Great job displaying ignorance.
@_familychiro@LaurenWitzkeDE@BasedMikeLee What are mainstream Christian beliefs make no sense, when looked at in context of actual events and actual teachings. It is ludicrous to think Jesus is somehow referring to himself in the 3rd person, when referring to God or my Father In Heaven. There are so many examples.
@_familychiro@LaurenWitzkeDE@BasedMikeLee How many entities were evidenced at Jesus’ baptism? Jesus in the water, voice of God from Heaven “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased”, and Holy Ghost descended in the form of a dove. How many entities is that? Three. Is that one God? Please explain
@_familychiro@LaurenWitzkeDE@BasedMikeLee The savior preached on the mount.
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. Hmmm…Jesus on earth…says be like my father in Heaven. Hmmm…Maybe he should’ve said “be like me in heaven when I’m done being the son on earth because I am also the father.
@_familychiro@LaurenWitzkeDE@BasedMikeLee On Easter Sunday, Jesus said to Mary at his tomb, touch me not for I have not yet ascended to my father in heaven. Was he talking about himself? He was going to ascend to himself in Heaven?
