Beating the Odds (BTO Foundation) was founded by Jordon Johnson-Rubell during his Freshman year at the University of Texas! The Mission of the Foundation is to:
1. Provide scholarships
2. Mentorship
3. Community Outreach
Sarkisian touched on Jordon Johnson-Rubell being a player of the game on special teams.
"There's a guy who didn't play on defense. All he did was play on special teams and had a fantastic football game."
Thank you to everyone that donated to my 2nd Annual Winter Drive! My Grandmother delivered everything on behalf to Morningside Elementary School in my hometown Fort Worth, Texas. 🙏🏿#hookem

Had the pleasure of seeing Jordon’s efforts first hand and was blown away by the reaction from some of his former teachers.
We’ll have his story coming up later this weekend on @CBSNewsTexas#HookEm
