A woman's detachment doesn't happen overnight-it begins the moment she realizes she said the same thing before. Not just once, but repeatedly. She tried expressing herself in every possible way-calmly, then emotionally; then quietly, and finally out of frustration.
Each time, she hoped things would change, that maybe this time you'd listen, understand, and make an effort to truly be there for her. But nothing ever did.
And so, slowly, she stops holding on to the idea that you'll ever truly understand her. That's when the detachment sets in-not with anger, but with quiet acceptance.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to speak up for yourself when someone is crossing your boundaries or dismissing your feelings. You are your biggest advocate. No one else can read your mind or feel what you feel.
Today i realized i’m the problem. I allow people to do me any kinda of way, and I just love them anyway. I tend to choose people who aren't willing to choose me. And hold onto people I should let go of. But l am a pourer. I try to pour life, and positivity and energy into everyone around me without having the proper people in my life to pour it back. That stops today, I gotta love me more than I love them.
Can’t nobody ever gaslight me into thinking I’m a bad person. I have my ways & I have my days, but I’m solid & my love is real & genuine every step of the way.
I love reassurance I love consistency I love a person who considers my feelings in every situation and a person who’s actions add up to everything that there telling me ♥️
