My wife are struggling and stressed out beyond belief, not helped by our financial situation as well. We break down and cry regularly now, and it just feels like an overwhelming challenge. We feel so alone and abandoned and its grinding us down.
As it is, we are nowhere close to packed, even a week away from our scheduled move. We have tons to pack away, and send, and we really dont have that much to do that. The alternative is just giving away 95% of the stuff remaining for free.
I'm going to drop my mask here for a while, so yeah. My family is moving. That gofundme that I pinned was initially set up to help with medical and processing fees, but honestly right now I just want to have something to help with the move.
Head empty. Just depressed and grieving and... Oh hey, let's do more #Battletech 2018 to help keep my mind out of how my life sucks right now. Getting ready, maybe starting up in a few mins.
Family is asleep, I don't have time, and god is life so bad right now. I need an escape. Back to the Inner Sphere I go for more #Battletech. At the red and purple site as usual.
It's hard to live with failure. Especially when it affects other people directly. My family is suffering for the misjudgements I made more than 3 years ago.
It was brutally honest, and I cant offer any rebuttal as it was my fault. I chose the more comfortable path in the short term rather than working had and worrying about being comfortable later. And now we're in a bloody hole, drowing emotionally.
And worried about streaming, and other nonsense. How I never had a plan for the family, as they were never my long term focus. And now she had to pick up the pieces..And she hates having to be thrust in the position when she didn't have to be had I did things properly.
And how now, unlike the ants who prepared for the rainy days and winter, I didnt prepare the family, and now she has to pick up the pieces. How I was not like other men, mature family men, who focused on grinding and working, while I sat complacent
Had another "discussion" with the wife, while in the car making sure our two eldest kids had their lunch. How she could never feel secure with me, how all I "know" about my failures but did nothing to change in the time where we still had... chances I guess.
Okay, here's the situation, and its pretty dire:
- both me and my wife are out of status in Canada. This means all our kids benefits cease, and we can't even work.
- we have 90 days to restore our status, but our best long time bet is for one of us to study again.
