First Day Hike!
Join us January 1st in Pretty River Valley at 635401 Second Line for a self-guided 2km hike or snowshoe between 10:00am and 4:00pm. Park staff will be onsite with Ask-the-Naturalist.
Complimentary hot chocolate and coffee will be provided. Bring your own mug!
Reminder for all visitors to wear blaze orange during hunting seasons in Pretty River Valley.

The leaves are beginning to change in Pretty River Valley Provincial Park.
If you plan to visit the park this fall please ensure to follow all park rules and plan your route!

Pretty River Valley Provincial Park is home to over 40+ km of trail systems.
Reminder for cyclists, runners, and hikers to travel on open and existing trails.
These sensitive natural areas provide important habitats for a variety of species at risk.
Before visiting Pretty River Valley this long weekend, follow these tips and rules to ensure your safety while enjoying the trails!

Pack out everything you bring in.
๐ซ Littering and dumping of household waste is not permitted in the Provincial Park.
๐๏ธ Respect the environment by disposing of all waste properly and keeping our natural spaces clean.
Ontario Parks staff have been working collaboratively with The Bruce Trail Conservancy and the Town of Blue Mountains on making access to Pretty River Valley safer with the addition of a new pedestrian crosswalk a safer parking area and a new Bruce Trail re-route.
Pretty River Valley has amazing hiking trails you and your dog would love!
Just remember:
๐ฆฎDogs must be kept on leash at all times to protect our parks ecological integrity.
๐ฆฎOther hikers may not appreciate your poochโs enthusiasm.
๐ฆฎBag all waste, and dispose of it properly.
Visitors be aware Mountain Bike trail maintenance will occur Friday, May 5, 2023.

Please note: The enforcement of the roadside parking restriction on Pretty River Road between The Blue Mountains - Clearview Townline and the Osprey-Blue Mountains Townline will begin November 30.

Due to periods of rain, trail conditions have become very wet and are not suitable for activity at this time.
Please stay tuned for updates on trail conditions, and plan to use trails on a dryer day.
We all love to spend time in nature, so itโs important that we do our part to protect it.
Off-road vehicles cause damage to the natural environment and are prohibited in our park.
When you visit, consider other activities like hiking and mountain biking on designated trails!
