September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month🎗️

Every day, children and their families in our community face the unimaginable challenge of fighting cancer. At Fort Bend ISD, we stand in solidarity with them, honoring the bravery of young warriors and the strength of their loved ones.

This month, we join schools and communities across the nation in raising awareness, supporting research, and spreading hope. Together, we can shine a light on childhood cancer and encourage our students, staff, and families to show compassion and care.

📵 New State Law on Personal Devices in Schools

Starting with the 2025–26 school year, a new Texas law (House Bill 1481) will require all students in public and charter schools, including Fort Bend ISD, to keep personal communication devices powered off and out of sight during the school day.

The law is designed to support focused, distraction-free classrooms and enhance campus safety.
