@PHEDconnect Hello PHED, I am puzzled at the constant unannounced tarrif increases I have been experiencing. I just purchased units today and noticed I was charged at 72.67 as opposed to 62.02 which was the tariff of 12th of Dec. Was this an error? What's going on?

@usmanlanrea@instablog9ja How can you expect the residents to pay for units before use. Then ask them to pay again for the same units (including people who just moved in) then also increase the rates astronomically. And expect people to happily comply?
@usmanlanrea@instablog9ja The Residents aren't owing pls. Point of correction. It is a prepaid system. All monies paid dully to Octo5 before units are vended. Octo5 owes EKEDC. Oceanbay estate has been cut off the National grid for 17 months due to debt owed EKEDC by @Octo5co@Octo5Estates. The payment for Residents is prepaid. They continue to increase the power tariff, 120/kw to now 270/kw without consulting residents the power supply is 8 hours only
