“I’m gonna wait”

…jump on that offer, because the portal is getting ready to open and you’re getting ready to move to the bottom of the list.

Might be my favorite call up video ever. This is proof that if you work hard, it pays off. Rikuu is not a prospect, he’s probably not a guy a lot of people excepted to be playing in a #WhiteSox uniform in 2026.

But he’s a hard freaking worker. I’ve never seen him give up on a play. I’ve never seen him not give his 110%. Credit to the White Sox for giving a player who deserves this his chance.

(Not to mention his teammates absolutely adore him and the joy he brings to the clubhouse is irreplaceable.)
