@RiNu19710639@Travman6746@TightFive_Rugby What was that “sharks staff member” doing next to Crowley as he was kicking anyway?? Hendricks had walked off way earlier, and who was that dude in the denim and white shirt?!? Ref had no control over what was going on. 😂
@GarethR93744370@BBCSportWales Much like Pendergast played himself out of contention against Northampton, Nicky smith probably did the same in the Glasgow/Leicester game, was a painful watch at scrum time.
@kieran_balmer@TightFive_Rugby Fagerson has got a great chance of being the starting tighthead on current form, if bealham goes then I think it will be in place of furlong who looked completely out of sorts outside of the scrum on the weekend. Agree with daly, ran one nice line in the 6 nations and that’s it!!
@John_Twohig@CaptSpringbok@LoveOfRugby_ At no point does youngs say he can’t do those things, he says he looks like he’s playing in a system which he doesn’t. He’s questioning the rigidity of that system, maybe the idiot is the chap without the comprehension to understand that??
@darraghgibbons@patmccarry Any room for a view that van der fliers first try was a “gimme”?? Deegan must of took most of the 1st half to play that ball off the floor!
@TightFive_Rugby That was 1st versus 2nd in the URC, as the results came in last week the fans of URC teams were gloating about the “poor quality of premiership sides”. If Leinster are that much better than the 2nd best team then wheres the competition? Score could/should have been much more!
@RugbyPhilBB Agreed, maybe I should have put officially in inverted commas. But that pyramid is a problem for Welsh regions regarding an Anglo league, English clubs are never going to allow it in place of their access to the premiership.
@RugbyPhilBB There is a “pyramid” in English rugby still officially, so the money is divided proportionally as with other organisations using similar structures. Lots of people still agree that jeopardy and aspirations are needed to keep interest in sport alive?
@RugbyPhilBB@Gar3th_0w3n86@BBCSportWales I agree but what metric are we using to measure that. More growth means more opportunities for everything. Are the regions going to be cut in the hope that one becomes competitive in the URC? Do they stop at 3? Look at the jaguares, people involved in that said it didn’t work.
@RugbyPhilBB@Gar3th_0w3n86@BBCSportWales The regions carry the responsibility for the academies?? One less region means 25% reduction in places and opportunities? I understand there is no point in throwing money into a structure that isn’t working but isn’t the end goal to grow the game?
@RugbyPhilBB@Gar3th_0w3n86@BBCSportWales If the dragons are cut (as warburton suggested), do the WRU really think those supporters will just change their jerseys and get on the train to Cardiff on Saturdays?? I think they actually do, but they won’t, they probably walk away from the sport like lots did in 2003.
@pSp2424@dave43law@emilyhewertson National insurance is not a tax, it’s a social security contribution that is paid on earned income into the national insurance fund, which is essentially a savings scheme. And those who have contributed have every right to access that fund when they are at an age they can’t work
@pSp2424@dave43law@emilyhewertson Can’t start means testing pensioners now to see if they should receive their state pension, It’s not a gift or a benefit, it’s withdrawing money from a system that they had been paying into throughout their working lives. If means testing is introduced then an opted out should 2.
@ajw32@Tom_Courtney_7 @Jack_Lime76 @_AlexBywater@MailSport Who did he get a red card against in 2016?? The one on the weekend has been rescinded so that’s 2 in a career spanning 12 seasons, sounds far from “terrible” to me.
