@ZackGold16@01blackberry So how do you explain the same thing happening to people on the streets of the UK every single day? Most of whom are not carrying knives and many of whom are innocent? You’re either very naive or very stupid. Try kick somebody in the head and see where you end up. Fool.
My tweet is all over the media because Zack retweeted it.
Do I regret posting it?
No.
The footage of the arrest was horrendous. I am far from the only person on here who expressed concern about it.
The people who should be ashamed are the ones celebrating the violence.
If UK police are trained to kick people repeatedly in the head after they’ve been tasered and incapacitated, we should be given details. How long has it been so, who trains them to do it ‘safely’ to avoid police themselves being murderers, when it’s happened, how it’s regulated.
@JohnDon58086814@vicderbyshire He didn’t. He apologised for sharing the tweet in ‘haste’ in what was a ‘politically charged situation.’ Police brutality and excessive force is used on our streets every single day, not just to those carrying knives & not just to those who are guilty of a crime. Open your eyes.
@SarahSi56983946@vicderbyshire This doesn’t just happen to people carrying knives. This happens to people on the streets of Britain by Police every single day, many of whom are innocent or mentally ill. Are you really that thick?
@Thighsofsteel1@vicderbyshire He didn’t apologise for what he said, he apologised for sharing the tweet in haste. He was correct the first time agreed.
BREAKING: Anger in Croydon Labour as two longstanding popular black Councillors with impeccable records are deselected and Keir Starmer’s niece is imposed by London Party HQ on their safe Labour seat (via @TheTimes) https://t.co/jMpv5Q1x5x
The Green Party, headed by @ZackPolanski, is set to make significant gains in London.
The chief of @metpoliceuk decided he’s not happy with this and so publicly attacked the Leader of @TheGreenParty a week before elections.
Mark Rowley must resign and the Metropolitan Police must issue an apology immediately for this blatant political interference made worse by Rowley’s interview this morning.
For more than 25 years, the Metropolitan Police has been repeatedly found by independent investigations to be institutionally racist, misogynistic and homophobic.
The brass neck is staggering.
As Commissioner, Mark Rowley’s job is to serve the public, not to make political attacks.
Shame on him.
@Keir_Starmer Had you done the same then Labour would have still got my vote again next week. Alas you didn’t. If we’re going to talk about disgrace then let’s at least talk about the last 3 years. By the way, wasn’t this you?
@TracyBrabin Your endorsement of the excessive force used by Police has made me see you in a new light. You’re not quite the saviour of Politics that West Yorkshire once hoped, I know where my vote is now going next week. Unfollowed.
@ZackPolanski I fully agree with your comments regarding excessive police force and so the media and politicians agenda to try and silence you has had the opposite effect for me, it’s actually drawn me closer to your party and your policies. Keep it up.

I’ll just leave this here.
The Met Police intervention and attempted skewer against Zack Polanski’s comments by Fiona Bruce tonight were unjustified.
Zack Polanski was right - this was unacceptable force.
@PaulBrandITV It’s hardly shocking, when Mark Rowley is responsible for a Police force that is not just sexist, racist, homophobic and littered with criminals, it is also institutionally corrupt and notoriously inept. The Met Police should have been dismantled years ago.
Someone explain to Mike Hamilton and those at @TheSun how child abuse & grooming works. The very basics about manipulation & the complex psychological issues at play. And explain to @scott_mills ‘social circle’ 27yr old men should not have sex with kids. Genuinely insulting read.
