In simpler words: Both ODST & Reach proved that you could tell a good narrative that didn't focus on the Chief as the main character, & Chief already had a proper end to the story that the fanbase had come to love in Halo 3, so 343 messed up by continuing his story.
Unpopular opinion: All of the 343 studios-made Halo games would have been 10,000,000x better if they left the Master Chief story end after Halo 3 and starting actually doing something unique instead of riding Bungie's coattails and banking on nostalgia to sell their games.
I've heard that CDJs are industry standard for most artists but I'm not so sure if that is necessary for someone who is just starting out in dubstep. Can a dubstep DJ get by with a DJ controller or is it a waste of money? Do you even need a controller or can you just use Ableton?
There seems to be a severe lack of info on what DJ equipment a beginning dubstep DJ should get. A lot of videos I watch seem to just address general "DJs" but nobody really goes into detail on what equipment is good for specifically dubstep. Does anybody have any recommendations?
Producer tip: the next time you start a song have the intention of never showing it to anyone
this will spark your most unique creative ideas devoid of all fear
what you choose to do with it after it’s done is up to you
Okay can I just say that as much as I love every Disciple mix I've heard, I am now of the firm opinion that PhaseOne's Vol 63 mix is the best one they've ever done.
That may be because I broke my neck and I'm not thinking straight though so I mean...🤷♂️
