VI2022PRIDE are operating when/where we can over trans awareness week. Expect to see us on multiple modes and bands.
Please be patient, we are doing our best :) Consider donating to your local transgender org.
QSL cards have been sent out. If you requested a QSL card and haven't received on in the next month please reach out to us and we'll get another one sent.
It was so lovely reading all your kind messages as well ❤️🧡💛💙💜💚🤎🖤🤍
Some QSL cards sent to us for VI2022PRIDE were mis-delivered by AusPost however we have those QSL cards now and will be processing the backlog in the coming weeks. Sorry if you've been waiting awhile!
Having so much fun QRPing around the 40M band with this SDR transceiver and my little linear. Had a very weak QSO with special station VKI2022PRIDE taking to Tim. I was right in his noise with a 33, but we got through. It's a joy! :)
@charrhlotte Basically any group or club who's primary focus is supporting under represented groups. For example for Pride Radio Group include PRG.
The QRP power limit seems to have gone missing from our website, but is an unconventional and generous 20W
Hi @reallykarel,
If our license restrictions permitted playing Barbra Streisand we would totally be there!
Unfortunately most countries amateur radio licenses prohibit playing of music for entertainment.
👋 Hey FT8 peeps. We weren't expecting such a huge response! Be patient and we'll try to get through everyone!
Looking forward to working all of you and enjoying your support! QSL cards will be via ClubLog OQRS.
A simple L-Band LNA can be extracted out of an old RS92 radiosonde GPS receiver. GPS-Filters are removed. Gain from 1260 to 1700 Mhz is about 30dB, noise figure about 1.4 dB. Needs 5-12 Volts. Can be used for Inmarsat etc.
PRG has just wrapped up it's first in person meet up in Melbourne! Thanks to all of those that showed up in person and all those who we made contact with!
