Betty Huffman-Rosevear passed away yesterday at the age of 104.
She was born in Canada but moved to the States as a young girl.
She served as a nurse with the US Army following the death of her husband Billy shot down over Denmark in February 44.
As a 2nd Lt, she was posted to France, the Philippines and Hawaii.
She made three trips to Normandy for the commemorations, including last year.
