We are not a party-political organisation but it would be a failure of our values to not stand up for LGBT+ people & to not condemn the homophobic comments made by Andy Large, Reform UK candidate in the Alsager Town Council By-election.

We are overjoyed to announce that Pride In Alsager 2025 will be taking place on Saturday 2nd August at the Alsager Civic & Alsager Town Centre.

We have so many exciting plans to share with you.

The band consists of guitarist Tom Somerfield, drummer Rory Brown, bassist Aaron Flye and vocalist Evelyn Cliffe. They are inspired by Nirvana, The Foo Fighters and Queen.

Established in 2021, Velvetone first played live at Alsager School performing Bohemian Rhapsody.
