@northernsoulboy@philroberts There usually is manufacturer service requirements etc.
Batteries lasting 8 years is factually plain wrong
See plenty of i3s for example
@thebracketsco@MAstronomers Inertia
It took off from earth going at the same speed and with nothing to slow it down it stays the same speed
Same as a ball thrown in a moving train
@DokatoRick@MAstronomers From earth we never see it
Due to earths gravity it's tidally locked meaning it rotates at the same speed it orbits the earth, always pointing the same side towards us
@TheFloppestra@DreMeMoTo Didn't buy a single PS4 game new, all used for sometimes less than half the price
That's what they're killing with digital only consoles
@Sir56ALot@ArrEssVeeTwin@KateFantom From another MG dealer, we've had one EHS in with a failed HVAC compressor, those are a known problem and have a technical bulletin
Nothing on the MG4 or 5 yet tho
@techpoodle @davidaak1991 @Clampy007@roger3321 @esg_fm Deny it however you want
They're not EVs obviously and they don't match plugin Hybrids but they self charge und get gas mileage under anything else purely ICE powered, which being significantly quicker and having EV advantages
With no extra energy put in
@techpoodle @davidaak1991 @Clampy007@roger3321 @esg_fm And yes a large part is from braking and engine braking that would otherwise be lost
Never said it uses all lost energy like wind, rolling resistance and thermal losses of the engine but it works entirely off otherwise wasted energy
@techpoodle @davidaak1991 @Clampy007@roger3321 @esg_fm Nope it also harvests energy from idling, keeps the engine under load when idling or at low loads, where it's more efficient and uses the excess energy to charge the battery, it deploys the electric energy to support to engine especially when it would be less efficient to use
@techpoodle@Clampy007@roger3321 @esg_fm Obviously lmao but clearly there is energy in the battery and you don't plug it in at any point
Thus it charges itself
Most of the energy is energy that would otherwise be wasted, idling, rolling, braking, keeping the engine at a more efficient load
Self
