Our visitor student Tim Heitkämper has been working with these columns, testing if our bacteria can remove contaminants from artificial mine water. What a nice surprise that one of the columns has started getting orange. Exciting what is happening there👀😯! @KujalaKatharina
Went to a research visit in Germany with my antimony-resistant babies🦠and all the components for making their media. They just didn't like the lab and decided not to grow until the very end of stay. When I came back to Finland, they happily grow back again. @KujalaKatharina 😂
Seguimos trabajando.

The final day of (un)common worlds and more #microbe action with @PrietoFrancisca , a microbiologist and illustrator, presenting her personal and interdisciplinary book Under Extreme Conditions, about a microbial research expedition to Svalbard.
The first winter of in-situ continuous water isotope measurements on ❄️#snowpack is accomplished in #Oulu🥳With help and support from my colleagues, @nat_iso’s group, and @ca19120🦾, I think our setup survived quite well at 65 °N🥶Now, time to process the data👩💻
