The sanctuary was founded in 2000 by Sheila Burns and her first donkey PrimRose (below on Prim’s 46th birthday in Aug. 2020).
Currently home to over 50 animals rescued from abuse or neglect and cared for by volunteers, it is a place of healing and love.

An Oasis for Daisy & Sally
We need your help! We are currently seeking donations for the construction of a dedicated living space for Daisy and Sally.
Daisy and Sally are two blind, bonded miniature donkeys who came to live at PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary last year. /1
Complete with hydro, it will be a space they never have to leave.
This Oasis will not only provide the safety and security of a familiar, never-changing environment, it will also have everything they need to live comfortable, enriched lives without disruption and uncertainty. /5
