On Friday, Owls class enjoyed a fantastic trip to @suffolkleisurepark in Ipswich. They had the opportunity to try the Ringos and the Swiss Bob toboggans which were so much fun!
Our Year 6 children enjoyed a visit from @PorchProject who chatted with them about their transition to High School. The children also played some games and relaxed in the sunshine 🌞🚃
What a successful Sports Day we enjoyed last week! Our children put in huge amounts of effort, worked hard, were kind and supportive towards each other and had fun! Congratulations to Orange team who were victorious 🏆and thank you to everyone who came to cheer the children on!
Rabbits class have loved their 'Under the Sea' topic 🐳🌊 They have observed how to get their frozen sea creatures from ice and experimented to see what happens to ice when salt is added. They have also enjoyed creating sea creature art 🐙🦀 Looks like fun Rabbits!
We were so lucky to have a visit from PC Jack and his flashy, noisy police car! The children were able to press the buttons in the car and ask PC Jack lots of interesting questions. 🚔
We are so proud of our Year 5/6 Cricket Team who took part in an inter-school tournament at Hadleigh Cricket Club on Tuesday and came a marvellous 2nd place! They showed great team work and represented our school brilliantly. Well done to you all! 🏏
On Thursday, Squirrels and Hedgehogs class enjoyed a fantastic trip to @hollowtreesfarm in Semer. The children fed the animals, watered plants, picked fruit and learnt so much about growing and farming. The grown-ups learnt a lot too! A wonderful day out. 🌱🐷🌞
Our wonderful Covid Memorial Garden has burst into life in the sunshine! ☀️Have a look at the beautiful blooms we are all enjoying 🌸🌼 Mrs O and Mrs P have even got a posy of homegrown sweet peas brightening up the office!
Squirrels have made fruit salad using fruit grown in the UK. They enjoyed trying different berries and different varieties of apples. They found out their raspberries and strawberries were grown in Suffolk, which started a great conversation about reducing our carbon footprint.
Foxes have made snack wraps 🌯including food that is popular in Nigeria. They tried lots of different fruits and vegetables, like avocado🥑They have even tried to reduce their waste by using their science knowledge to re-grow their lettuce and avocado. Looks tasty Foxes! 🦊
Lucky Badgers class were rewarded with a delicious ice-cream treat for working so hard this half term to earn lots of Dojo points. Well done Badgers! 🍦

It was wonderful to see so many little ones and their grown-ups at yesterday's 'Better Together' toddler group in our school hall. We had lots of new faces joining our friendly regulars. Do come along on a Monday morning between 9am and 11am, everyone is welcome. 🏓🎨📚
Badgers class have created Rakhi bracelets whilst learning about the Hindu festival of Raksha Bandhan. They have also designed and made these fantastic puppets to retell the story of Rama and Sita in a puppet show. Brilliant work Badgers! 🦡
