Hi we are flourishing crew we go into classes to show/teach them our flourishes:caring and empathy we go into classes and read them stories about our flourishes. They are so well behaved and we love going into the classes they have such good ideas.
We are really enjoying it.
C3 had a great day visiting the Islamic centre and the discovery centre. In the summer the Imam visited our school and invited the children. They were pleased to attend the mosque and w enjoyed learning more. They then learnt more about the Stone Age later on.
We are part of the flourishing crew and read a story to C3 about our flourishes from this half term (confidence and responsibility). We read dogs don’t do ballet, explained the worry monster and the prayer box c3 loved it there were questions after. We loved ready a story!
Last week class 3 made Stone Age bread to learn about the ingredients they would’ve used at the time. The also used this for their TfW hook into learning by writing a recount. @PieCorbett#stoneage#talkforwriting
We have obtained the bronze music mark award for another year 🎉This means that Shropshire Music Service has nominated us for the award in recognition of the opportunities we offer within this curriculum area.
On Monday
Mrs Wilson from the Environmental agency talked to us about how we look after the environment. The environmental agency is going to build a flood defence, a wall, to enclose the whole of Tenbury wells. We can help us by making some sensible choices.
In our worship we celebrated England’s Lioness’ success. We discussed how our values of Love, Trust and Courage were shown by the whole team. The children were also shocked that only 100 years ago the FA had banned women from playing football.
C3 were engineers and created their own towns and designed where they would place buildings in relation to the river. They thought about how they could adapt buildings e.g putting them on stilts or wheels so they could be saved if it flooded.
Our eco swap this morning. Eco club sorted and arranged preloved uniform that parents had donated. The parents came and took what they needed for next year. We are working hard on being sustainable and supporting each other through the cost of living crisis.
