@mattcoyney The general feeling at book club was that some individuals in the photo were sent to help Franklin or Red throughout the story - almost as if some force had sent them to help at key moments. Was there any real-life inspiration behind this?
Just got back from Book Club for @mattcoyney's Frank and Red. Everyone loved it and it was lovely to chat about our favourite things about it. I loved the fact that @BlindDad_Uk popped up who as a parent I obviously knew from Dog Squad on CBeebies! ๐
I'm absolutely chuffed that #TheClockworkConspiracy has been shortlisted for the #FCBGCBA25 by actual young readers! Thank you to everyone who read and nominated it, you absolute wonders ๐๐๐๐ฐ๏ธ
@PrimarySchoolBC@prleathley@HarperCollinsCh A3. The world you have created is so huge with many possibilities, can you tell us if you are planning a sequel?
A3. Where did you draw your inspiration from creating such a unique and magical world?

@PrimarySchoolBC@prleathley@HarperCollinsCh A2b. Kids love a flawed character as it helps them to see that no one is perfect. I love the theme of fate throughout the book and this will really resonate with some children who feel they are ill-fated for whatever reason. #PrimarySchoolBookClub
@PrimarySchoolBC@prleathley@HarperCollinsCh A1. Inkbound was a true delight to read. Beautiful word building and characters you empathise with and really root for. This book truly transported me into a wonderfully magical world and I didn't want to leave. #PrimarySchoolBookClub
@Ju1iaLund@prleathley@PrimarySchoolBC Completely transported me to another world. Told my husband he should read it to my eldest at bedtime next as I think they'd both love it too ๐
Wow wow wow! I've just finished this fabulous book, Inkbound - Meticulous Jones and the Skull Tattoo by @prleathley for next week's @PrimarySchoolBC. I have been completely transformed by this story into a magical world where finding out your fate can either be a gift or a curse.
