Heart attack symptoms are not always dramatic chest pain. Watch for pressure or discomfort in the chest, shortness of breath, pain in the arm, shoulder, jaw, neck or back, cold sweat, nausea, or lightheadedness. If you suspect a heart attack, call 911. #HeartAttack
A better home blood pressure reading: avoid food, caffeine, smoking, and exercise for 30 minutes. Sit quietly for 5 minutes, feet flat, back supported, arm at heart level, cuff on bare skin. Don't talk. Take 2 readings, 1–2 minutes apart. #Hypertension

A1C is a snapshot of your average blood sugar over about 3 months. General ranges: normal below 5.7%, prediabetes 5.7–6.4%, diabetes 6.5% or above. An abnormal result without clear symptoms usually needs confirmation.
