Bethlehem Of Judea
(Author Unknown)
A little child,
A shining star.
A stable rude,
The door ajar.
Yet in that place,
So crude, forlorn,
The Hope of all
The world was born.
We wish you all a happy and holy Christmas.
Holiday Club had a fantastic visit to the Swan Theatre yesterday, to see Ice Queen. Bubbles, snow & and great performance! Thank you. @WorcesterRep
Congratulations to the School Council and Miss Taylor on running a great Christmas Film Night. Everyone had a lovely time and helped to raise money for the School Council charity! Well done everyone.
It was the children’s last chance to swap stickers for their World Cup 2022 sticker books this week. The children have really enjoyed bringing their stickers and books into school to share with each other. Thank you to Miss Russell and Miss Taylor. #PaniniStickerAlbum
This week Yr3 were investigating how plants transport water via their stems by putting celery sticks into coloured water. They were amazed to see where the water had gone and made comparisons between the plants’ phloem vessels and arteries in mammals. #Science
Amazing range of animal tracks in the snow at Forest School last week. Great fun identifying who they belonged to, then off on a treasure hunt to find hidden chocolate money. Back at Base camp the children enjoyed eating their coins with a hot chocolate: lovely!

This term, Year 4 have been enjoying regular visits to the library. They have learnt to use the self-service scanners, and also to be responsible for returning the book by it’s due date. It is wonderful to see their enthusiasm for reading. #pershorelibrary#reading
What a fantastic PTA Xmas Fun Day we all had, from visiting Santa in his grotto, decorating our own clay Christmas tree decorations, Christmas themed activities in class, Christmas lunch and then a Dick Wittington panto, performed by the staff in the hall in the afternoon!
Today pre-school had an exciting adventure down at Abbey Park. Santa had stuck up some Christmas-related pictures around the park and set them the challenge of seeing if they could find all of the pictures. Needless to say, the children were amazing. Such great noticing skills!
Year 6 have been out carol singing in the community, at the Pershore Lunch Club and at Pathfinders. They sang a range of traditional carols, mixed with popular music Christmas songs, much to the appreciation of their audiences. Thank you Children! #Pershore
Year 4 led the School and their families in collective worship yesterday-sharing with them their learning from their RE lessons. Their beautiful singing, dancing, prayer and tableaux of the Nativity, made for a lovely assembly, and a very informative one. #Advent
Well done to all of our early morning Santa runners. That's real commitment on a cold, December morning, but it makes the hot chocolate taste even better! Hope to see you all back at running club in January. #santadash#running
Mrs Annis was very impressed with the skills and determination shown by the Under 11 Girls' Football team. After a very close game the final score was a 3:4 loss. Congratulations to St Joseph's & thank you for hosting. Well done to all involved.
This week in class the children have been reading the book ‘Mud Pies and Other Recipes’, by Marjorie Winslow and Erik Blegvard, so this afternoon Mrs Andrews took them into the Forest School area to make some mud pies!
Please join us in church, on Wednesday 14th December, at 6:30pm for our carol concert, led this year by Years 4, 5 and 6, who will take us on a journey through the nativity via scripture, poetry, music and song.
@OK_Magazine We really like the John Lewis ad: such an important issue. Have you seen our ad? We think ours will put a smile on your face too https://t.co/VI48RukexN #notthejohnlewisad
Last week some of our Year 6 pupils represented the School at the Pershore Wreath Laying Service, in honour of those who gave their lives in War, to protect our sovereignty and democracy. It was a beautiful service: thank you Trudy Burge and Claire Lording. #pershore
