Great session with Headteacher @PrimaryWoodside — valuable time reflecting on the importance of EDI work and critical thinking. Also loved our professional development session with Alex from @Steplab_co
Great teaching = Great outcomes = Better life chances.

We hosted our year 1-3 Winter Warmer yesterday, which was full of hot chocolate, reading and a sing along at the end. A great turnout for a cosy night in. We especially loved reading stories out loud for everyone. Don't forget, years 4-6 is on Thursday @IPAT_Edu
We loved hosting our first Parents in to Read session, starting with Year 1. Lovely to see our parents in classrooms, spending time with their children and promoting a love for reading! @IPAT_Edu

I've written my first blog about my first 2 years of headship. It's good to reflect, not only celebrate wins, but to plan our way forward. I hope this allows people to positively reflect on their leadership journeys in school and their key drivers #edutwitter#leadership#schools
A time to reflect on our 2 year journey so far and a continued drive to keep on going. As we keep moving forward, the 5 drivers will continue to push us and improve for our whole community.

We were delighted to welcome the Chancellor @RachelReevesMP to our Rochester school @PrimaryElaine. Rachel enjoyed a school lunch, gave pupils an opportunity to interview her and spoke about her policy to extend eligibility for free school meals. Thanks for the visit!
It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to meet one of the most influential people in the country & to make real life connections with the British value of democracy; a topic that we discuss so often. (2/2)

In Art, the children have been exploring some different types of printing - with blocks, stencils and masking. Making each of the elements needed for printing, the children created geometric shapes to match the style of Esther Mahlangu. @IPAT_Edu@PrimaryWoodside
In Art, the children have been introduced to a new artist - Esther Mahlangu, a South African artist known for her bold, geometric designs. They explored her life, her cultural influences, and the traditional patterns she uses in her vibrant artwork. @IPAT_Edu@PrimaryWoodside
As part of D&T Food Week, the children have been busy making pizza! They started by investigating the origins of pizza in Italy and then moved on to writing their own recipes for the perfect pizza dough, finishing the week branding their own pizza box. @IPAT_Edu@PrimaryWoodside
What a lovely way to end the term. A Steel Pans performance by our Year 6 Band. They performed for KS1, KS2 and then our parents after school @IPAT_Edu
