It was really excellent information put into this thread. I have always read whatever I could see about @Vedanta_Group since I have worked there before moving into finance.

Anil Agarwal spent two decades assembling Vedanta into one of India's most diversified resource groups. He has spent the last two and a half years taking apart the group's crown jewel, Vedanta Limited. On May 1, the process was completed.🧵👇
“I have Rs. 2,500 crores worth portfolio and I own 35% in Motilal Oswal which is valued at Rs. 20,000 crores.”
“In 500 richest guys, only Buffett invested in other companies, while all others own their company. So, Entrepreneurs compound money fastest.”

Selling at ₹1053 locked in that safety buffer before the stock trades at a fuller 23x multiple. Graham would say: better to sell with a profit and preserve capital than risk permanent loss if execution slips or sentiment turns.

It may touch ATH in future but I've not studied the #renewableenergy sector completely yet. I believe the energy demand is rising in #India & I am still studying the #stockmarket.
What do you think about this sector?
A 18% gain in ~2 months is excellent for most investors — many "hold forever" only to watch gains evaporate on sector volatility. From a Benjamin Graham lens (margin of safety): At ₹893 entry, you likely had some discount to then-current earnings power.
I think I might have just booked a very small profit where long term holding might have been prosperous!
What are the chances I booked too early?

@Nithin0dha I remember posting about one such case on X platform in the past.
I was studying Interglobe Aviation and Eternal and came across the same thing.

Interglobe Aviation Ltd, fixed assets of 51,567 Cr, operating profit of 6,082 Cr has a market cap of 2,13,353 Cr. Eternal Ltd., fixed assets of 9,532 Cr, operating profit of 72 Cr has a market cap of 2,29,244 Cr. How to justify this? #stockmarketsindia
Buying on 7th April, 2026 shows the bloodbath scared people and they want the markets to go up.
The levels are correcting but there are uncertainties in the market considering global conditions and #IranWar .

Good to see markets correcting today but not sure if they will rally towards the top.
Things happening globally are making them uncertain.

It gives you the power to earn money, which gets you all that money can buy (though not more) and the freedom of choice to do what you want and navigate life’s challenges well. The most valuable forms of human capital are great skills, great relationships, and a great reputation. I urge you to invest heavily and uncompromisingly in getting these. Besides being the most powerful type of capital, human capital is the only capital that can't be taken away from you. Throughout history, those who had everything else taken away—including those who had to leave their countries with nothing more than the shirts on their back—but had great human capital were still able to prosper.
