Had a strong tournament, recording 5 hits and 4 walks while stealing 15 bases and scoring 7 runs across 6 games. Polishing up my game before we go to Jupiter in a few weeks! @Texas_PG@HPBAac@hass_hitting
Injuries are going to happen‼️
One of the main focuses of anyone's training should always be prevention-getting strong enough, mobile enough, stable enough, and resilient enough to handle the demands you're placing on your body.
(Hydration, nutrition, sleep, recovery, and managing workload all matter.)
But if you're consistently training and competing at a high level, pushing your limits and trying to move the needle, injuries are going to happen.
(I didn’t tap in time to an arm bar)
We've been fortunate enough to work with thousands of athletes over the years, and that experience has taught us that rehab shouldn't just be about temporarily relieving pain. The goal is to identify the hole in the ship and train the system to address it-whether that's inflammation, relative weakness, connective tissue capacity, muscular function, mobility, stability, or tissue quality.
The objective isn't simply to get back to where you were.
It's to build the injured area-and the system around it-back stronger and more capable than it was before.
This grouping of exercises is just a small look into what I'm currently doing for my shoulder.
Right now, I'm utilizing three days per week of upper-body/shoulder-specific rehab, while my other training days remain focused on athletic lower-body work, currently centered around an eccentric reverse-lunge/split-squat block.
The purpose is to keep the entire system at peak. Keep producing force. Keep moving like an athlete. Keep giving the nervous system a reason to adapt.
I'm not interested in athletes sitting on the couch waiting for something to "heal over time." We need the shoulder. We need it functioning. And we're going to progressively and intentionally give the body a reason to make that happen.
These slides are only a small piece of the process-not an individualized rehab prescription-but they give you some insight into how we approach training around an injury while attacking the limitations contributing to it.
This is the type of individualized approach you'll get training in-house or remotely with mvself and Coach Alec @PRIME_HTX@_alecwilliams@hass_hitting@FairchildPitch@JT_throws@coachporterhtx

How many times am I gonna have to tweet about Camdyn Pickett? He’s proving himself week after week. You know he can play, and if not open your eyes.
I’ll do it until he lands a home.
Get him on campus and meet his family. His dad is the coolest dude of all time. Great family.
That’s how serious I am about him.
Coaches, NOW. Don’t be last.
Camdyn Pickett (‘27, TX) leads the game off with a double to LF. Electric out of the leadoff spot all weekend, with a staggering 15 steals.

98 MPH PR 🚨
Congrats to Tulane commit Preston Gorski on a new 98 MPH pulldown PR.
Works hard every single day and continues to prove what consistency can do.
The work is paying off. 📈🔥 More to come.
My boy getting the chance to be the bat boy for @Performance_X2. It was only right if his 1st time picking up a bat was from @Maddoxbryant29 the best hitter I’ve seen in the showcase circuit in my years coaching. Hoping he got some of that magic when he touched that bat 😂
I want to thank God, my parents, family, teammates, and coaches who helped me get to this point. I am blessed to announce I will continue my academic and athletic career at the Colorado School of Mines! Thank you to the coaching staff for this opportunity. #HelluvaEngineer
