Three church leaders and a driver were reportedly killed in a suspected ambush in Manipur’s Kangpokpi district on May 13. The incident also left several others injured. According to police sources, the attack took place at around 10 am between the villages of Kotlen and Kotzim along the Imphal-Tamenglong highway.

The racial and sexual abuse of a resident Doctor of AIIMS Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh from Nagaland is deeply shameful. Outraging a woman’s modesty is not what a civilized nation should tolerate. They are your sisters and daughters too.

@MeghalayaPolice, on the morning of June 9, said that they had arrested three men in connection with the death of #RajaRaghuvanshi. The men were allegedly hired by his wife, #SonamRaghuvanshi, to kill him. Police also confirmed that Sonam was arrested after she surrendered at Nandganj police station in Ghazipur, #UttarPradesh.
